Building Your Brand Awareness Through These Four Types of Signage

One of the very first things a new business needs to do is build brand awareness. This can be done through several different advertising and marketing initiatives, however, nothing helps you brand your business faster or better than strategically placed signage. Signage comes in many types, some more effective than others, however by understanding your target audience, you should be able to determine which types are best to get your brand and messaging across. In our post today, we are going to talk about the four types of signage that tend to work best to brand your business.

Vinyl Banners

Vinyl banners are a great way to get your brand in front of your target audience. Vinyl banners can be as large as a billboard advertisement, or as small as a 4x6 banner that's hung outside your main entrance, advertising a recent promotion. Vinyl banners are extremely sturdy, yet easy move to different locations and reuse if necessary. They are a great option when looking to brand your business. Yard Signs

Although not for every business, yard signs can be another great way to get your brand, or your personal name (if you are an independent contractor) out there. The great thing about yard signs is that they can be strategically placed wherever your target audience is located, they are especially powerful if your target audience is found in one geographic area. Magnets

Car magnets are a fantastic way to build your brand awareness. There's a pretty good chance that if you have magnets on both sides of your car and on the back that your customers will see you when you are driving around tow, stopped at traffic lights, or even parked at the local Wal-Mart. One perk of investing in magnets is that they are fully transferrable if you have multiple cars you drive. You can just peel them off and slap them on the other car and be on your way. You can learn more about car magnets here.

Decals

Along the same line as banners and magnets, decals are another fantastic way to build up your brand. I say banners and magnets, because many of the decals that businesses use are either window decals (for office or car windows) or vehicle decals (like car wraps). Unlike magnets, you can't take car wraps off and unlike banners, it's a bit more difficult to replace window decals. Regardless, they are still great for building your brand.
